Hi my name is Cory and I am originally from
Pittsburg Texas. I serve as the pastor of International
Baptist Church Eindhoven, The Netherlands. Several of my favorite
topics are, my family, church and anything to do with spiritual and biblical
history.
I am currently halfway through my Master of Divinity degree from Luther Rice University Seminary. I can retire from the U.S. Air Force. in
October, but I will serve another couple of years to help finish with my
degree. I have been a
minister everywhere I have gone for the Air Force and every place I go I
learn something new. I am excited to see what's next as we move to New
Mexico. Every place I serve grows me more and prepares me
for what God has next.
I am the father of three wonderful children. Aaron is
my oldest by two whole minutes and an incredible cook. He is currently
an F-22 crew chief in the U.S. Air Force. Autumn is my next child and two minutes younger than her twin
brother Aaron. She plans to go to college and get a degree in
something. Regardless of what she chooses I know she will do very
well and I'm glad she wants to stick around with mom and dad a little
longer. She also has the voice of an angel and is my favorite singer.
Andrew is my youngest at 17, but far from the least. He is studying
piano and guitar and is a fantastic artist. He amazes me every time I
hear him play. Look out Michael W. Smith! He wants to go to
college and get a music degree. I am hoping he is able to get a good
scholarship. I know he will be able to compete with the best.
My wife Lisa, what do you say about your soul mate.
God clearly brought her to me. There are a ton of stories, but she
might get embarrassed if I share them here. Suffice it to say, I am glad she
said yes when I asked her to marry me. I can also honestly say she
completes me. When I am discouraged she keeps me going. She's a
great lady I plan to spend the rest of my days with.
The church I pastor is fantastic and we are sad to have to
leave in October, but God knows best. They are a
collection of people from all around the globe, 26 different people groups
at last count. I will miss you guys very much when we leave, but I
also look forward to the flock God has prepared.
